Dave Brown, "Some examples of effective use of logical functions and expressions in Excel – Part 2."

Microsoft Excel built-in functions serve a wide variety of purposes in producing effective analysis and reporting results for quality applications. The power of Excels math and other functions are greatly enhanced by the use of logical functions, singly and in combination to produce a wide variety of results, often within a single cell result. This session will begin a multipart series explaining how Excel’s logical functions may be used in quality applications.

Apryl Lytle, "Running the Bases with Validation."

Apryl will discuss how you can "hit a home run" by having a solid understanding of validation theory. She is a Quality Engineer at Affymetrix, Inc. Affymetrix is a pioneer in creating breakthrough tools that are driving the genomic revolution. Affymetrix contributed significantly to the formation of today's genetic analysis markets and continues to drive the genomics revolution with a single-minded vision: to help all individuals benefit from understanding their own DNA.

Apryl is has worked more than 10 years in the regulated industries of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device manufacturing. Her experience is broad covering Validation, Compliance, and Quality Assurance. She started as a Validation Specialist, CAPA and Compliance Coordinator, Formulation Documentation Specialist, and QA Computer Validation/System Specialist. Apryl is trained in GAMP4 & 5 and has taken and taught CROM coursework. Apryl is a graduate of the Crosby Quality College and has received the Master Trainer Certification for Quality Education. She is also a member of ASQ. Apryl is married with 2 children and 2 dogs and currently resides in Streetsboro, OH.
