Discussion facilitated by John Hermann, President of Genesis Plastic Technologies, LLC

Your inventory turns are 20 per year. Manufacturing efficiency is above 90%. From a cost standpoint, your business is very healthy – right? Maybe, maybe not…

Traditional manufacturing measurements such as Inventory Turns and Efficiency, may not be telling the whole story – in fact, they may be driving you to make poor decisions. As we build on our last meeting’s discussion on Theory Of Constraints (TOC), this month we’ll focus on some less traditional yet more telling indicators of success. TOC measurements – based on Throughput, Operational Expenses, and Investment (Inventory) – can show you things you may not currently see, and can ultimately influence critical decisions you make within your business.

Join us June 10th, 7:45am at Seekers Coffeehouse in Mentor as John Hermann, President of Genesis Plastic Technologies, leads us through an interesting discussion around measurements and keeping things simple.

John Hermann has 25-years experience in the management of manufacturing companies. This experience includes 12 years managing four separate manufacturing operations for 3M Company. In addition, John has 10-years experience in Private Equity managing portfolio companies as President of the Operations Group. John holds undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University with a concentration in Strategic Quality Management.
