On February 24, 2003, a group of employees at Brauer Supply Company completed the course, INTERNAL AUDITING: Mini-Audits? for Maximum Results conducted by John Novak from KAVON International, Inc.

Brauer Supply Company was founded in 1881 by August G. Brauer as a supplier of cast iron stoves and parts in St. Louis, Missouri. The company changed with the times as the heating industry evolved to modern forced air systems. Additional product offerings were added, as the company became a major supplier of thermal insulation products, air filtration markets, and specialty fasteners.

In the latter part of the twentieth century, Brauer Supply Company expanded geographically with the addition of numerous branch offices throughout Missouri and in Illinois. Throughout its history, it has been continuously owned and managed by members of the Brauer family.

Brauer Supply Company has been a leading member of its product industries, having consistently played leadership roles in distributor organizations and contributed to the development of distribution science and practices.
