Congratulations are in order for Anatomical Concepts, Inc., located in Boardman, Ohio. On December 22, 2005 they received their certification to ISO 9001:2000 from QMI. During the flag ceremony on March 30, 2006, Frank Novak (KAVON International President) and John Novak (KAVON Vice President) presented the ISO 9001:2000 flag to William W. DeToro (President).

KAVON International, Inc. consultants John Novak and Jess Carroll, assisted Anatomical Concepts, Inc. in the identification of its processes, preparation of their ISO 9001:2000 documentation, and the training of their employees.

Anatomical Concepts, Incorporated was founded in 1990 as a manufacturer/supplier of quality custom-fit and custom-made orthoses. The corporation is dedicated to providing medical professionals with custom-fit and custom-made AFO’s, KAFO’s, and KO’s that allow for adjustability and patient ambulation.

The corporate philosophy of providing the highest quality customizable orthoses is evident throughout its entire line of products. Offerings include the original concept design of the PRAFO® and an entire line of multifunction products to support the medical professional. The PRAFO® and the other AFO products manufactured by the company are made with custom contoured heel connector bars that help to control plantar and dorsiflexion by allowing infinite measurable adjustments.
